Project Description

Connect Your Body & Mind

We see it all the time.

People who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma many times begin to externalize what they are feeling on the inside; they stop showering, over-eat/under-eat, experience headaches, are excessively tired due to sleep issues, or can’t stand to look at themselves in the mirror. At that point, inevitable things like getting ready in the morning or putting clothes on begins to fuel negative thoughts like “look at how ____ you are” or “Gosh, you’re so _____.” Blanks can be filled with many negative words that haunt our mind, feeding the unhealthy behaviors towards our body. We need to realize how they go hand-in-hand so that when we have the courage to change our lives, we do it effectively.

Without proper attention your mind and body will want to escape the reality that they are in; cue in the addictive behaviors!

Without intervention our minds can convince themselves that our unhealthy state of mind will never change. Our body can begin to program itself to store excess calories or protect itself when you under eat because it thinks it’s necessary for survival.

When you decide to start taking care of your body, it may fight against your regiment because it doesn’t know what you are doing and it will ensure survival, which may affect the results of your new healthy routine.

When you are in a place where your mind and/or body is at an unhealthy state, and you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, getting proper coaching can be essential to your ultimate goal.

Addressing the underlying issues that impact your drive and motivation coupled with mindful fitness workouts will help facilitate holistic transformation that leads toward a positive path and a life filled with health and longevity.
